The work behind each piece
Tree Removal
We take down trees other crews walk away from, from a leaning hazard over the house to a whole stand at the back of the lot. Every removal is planned first: we look at what is above and below the tree, rig the limbs down in controlled pieces when there is no clear drop zone, and protect the roof, fence, and beds the whole way. You get a written price before we start, the wood cut down to whatever length you want, and the site raked clean when we leave.
Tree Trimming & Pruning
Good pruning keeps a tree healthy and keeps limbs off your roof and wires, and bad pruning does lasting damage you pay for later. We prune to real arborist standards: remove the dead and crossing wood, thin the canopy so wind passes through instead of catching it, and raise limbs off the house without topping or gutting the tree. It keeps the tree sound, keeps your property safe in a storm, and keeps the yard looking cared for.
Stump Grinding
After a removal the stump is the last eyesore, and left in the ground it sprouts, rots, and draws pests. We grind stumps well below grade, chase the surface roots that trip a mower, and leave you a bed of grindings you can rake out and seed or plant over. We size the machine to the access you have, from a walk-behind grinder that fits a gate to a bigger unit for the trunks out back.
Emergency Storm Cleanup
When a tree comes down on the house, the drive, or the wires in a nor'easter, you need someone who answers and knows how to work a tangled, loaded limb safely. We respond fast for storm damage, assess what is under tension before anyone touches it, and clear the tree off your property piece by piece without making the damage worse. We document the work for your insurance and get you passable and safe first, then finish the cleanup.
Lot & Land Clearing
Whether you are opening a view, making room for an addition, or taking a wooded back lot down to usable ground, we clear it cleanly and haul it out. We take down the trees, grind or pull the stumps, cut back the brush and scrub, and leave the ground worked and ready for what comes next. We talk through what stays and what goes before any saw runs, so you keep the trees worth keeping.
Cabling & Bracing
A big tree with a weak crotch or a heavy horizontal limb does not always have to come down. Cabling and bracing installs support hardware high in the canopy that takes the load off a weak union and keeps a split from finishing in the next storm. Done right by an arborist, it can add years to a mature shade tree that would otherwise be a hazard, and it costs a fraction of a full removal.

Not sure if that big tree is dying or dangerous? We walk your property, read the canopy and the trunk for the real signs of decay, disease, and structural weakness, and tell you straight what is sound, what needs work, and what needs to come out.
